posted Sep 3, 2020, 6:27 AM by dhakim emak   [ updated Sep 3, 2020, 9:55 PM ]

Dear Parents

Assalamu Alaikum Wr Wbr

Alhamdulillah! We have created payment accounts for all the parents who submitted applications for online payment creation and more than 80% of the parents have paid through the Payment portal.

We will be posting instructions for Continuation Forms submissions in a few days time.

In the meantime, parents can also make payment for January 2021 at the portal.

Correct Paynow usage to pay fees

Please take note that fees payment using Paynow payments must be made within the portal (shown below).

This is because the portal will generate a unique reference code for the system to tag to your child's fees.

Some parents have made the mistake of making Paynow payments with mosque UEN number directly. Please note that your child's payment records will NOT be updated if you did that.

If anyone has made Paynow payments directly do the mosque's bank account, please email to Sister Syeda at

Madrasah Holiday

Important FAQs on Online Payment Accounts, PayNow as new payment method

Dear Parents

Assalamu Alaikum Wr Wbr

As of 31 July, please note that we have finished creating Online payment accounts for all parents who applied for account creation in the beginning of June.

We thank all parents who have made payments through the Online Payment platform.

There are some who have been assigned the accounts but yet to make payment.

We would much appreciate it if you could log in, check if the account is working and make the necessary payment.

We are also pleased to inform you that you can pay by PayNow. With this

method, you do not need a credit/debit card and there are no transaction fees.

Please see Important notes on PayNow.

As it is very important for Parents to have an Online Payment Account at this time, the following is a list of FAQs we have complied to ensure parents know what to do.

If you are in any Financial difficulty, please email to us early so that we can make arrangements for you. Please email to and cc to emak email.

Please see the sections below/on the side to answers to the following questions:

For those who missed the first signup period, you can sign up by 15 August

Click here to pre-create your online payment account.

Please note that after this last date, you will have to create it manually if you have not signed up.

What if I have received the account setup email but am having problems?

For some of you who are experiencing problems, Qrom (the developer on online payment) will be in touch with you if you have submitted the support form.

If you have not submitted the form, please submit the support form here together with the problem you are facing.

Why is it important to set up your Online payment account?

As we do not expect the mosque counters to open soon, this will also help to ensure that fees do not accumulate to large amounts.

Furthermore, we will be issuing continuation forms for 2021 and you would only be able to make payment for the January fees online.

Important notes on PayNow

For payments made by Paynow, the receipt will be generated and the statement updated 3 working days after payment has been made.

However, as proof of payment, your bank will send you a confirmation immediately after you make payment using the PayNow QR Code.

This confirmation by the Bank will be your confirmation as you have made payment until you receive your receipt.

Dear Parents

Assalamu Alaikum Wr Wbr

Online Fees Payment

Alhamdulillah, we have just over ⅓  (One third) of the Parents who have signed up for online payment.

Since we are not sure when the mosque counters can open, we urge all parents to sign up for Online payment by 5th Jun, if you have not done so.

Otherwise you may not be able to pay fees at present times.

If you need to create an account after this it may take a few weeks to do that.

So we urge all parents to sign up even if you do not plan to use it during normal times.

Click here to pre-create your online payment account.

Online payment is now undergoing testing and once we are live in a few weeks you will receive email with your password.

Sibling Application for Academic Year 2021

If you have children in EMAK, and would like to enroll their siblings born in 2016 or earlier (2015-2000), please apply before 15th June  to be given priority.

Please note that every year we have at least a dozen parents who failed to apply early and did not get a place in the Madrasah for their other children.

Even Kids aLIVE 1 classes for last year were oversubscribed and we were only able to give a place for 1 out of 3 children.

Please DO NOT register students who are already in the Madrasah. We will be giving continuation forms to existing students in July.

Please use the following link to apply:

HBL and Live Classes Continue, Fee Waiver Amendment, Project Revive

posted May 1, 2020, 3:15 AM by dhakim emak   [ updated May 1, 2020, 3:17 AM ]

Dear Parents

Assalamu Alaikum Wr Wbr

HBL and Live Classes will continue till 16th/17th May

Although the month of May has been declared as school holiday, MUIS has decided to continue HBL Classes and Live Classes as planned for the term till 16th/17th May.

We are pleased to inform you that we are now doing live teaching online for all Tweens, Teens and Youth aLIVE Classes. We have started in phases starting with Teens and Youth three weeks ago, with Tweens starting last week and this week. With this we now have 20 classes on live teaching with Google Meet.

Due to security reasons our Madrasah has decided to use Google Meet for live teaching instead of Zoom.

Due to the difficulty of managing Kids aLIVE classes online, we will only have Home Based Learning (HBL) at the moment. We may do a pilot live teaching for Kids 3 and Kids 4 classes soon. Teachers will keep you updated.

Fee Waiver update

In an earlier post, we have said that 50% will be waived for March and April Fees. Instead of waiving 50% March and April fees, the mosque has decided to waive the full month of May fees in order to make administration easier (It is the same in terms of amount i.e. one month fees).

Project Revive

In view of the COVID-19 situation, we do expect parents to experience difficulty paying fees and we plan to top up the EMAK Trust fund during this Ramadan.

Project Revive is an initiative by EMAK (Al-Khair English Madrasah) to encourage the recitation of the Quran and the act of Sadaqah.  Donations will be directed to the EMAK Trust Fund which serves to assist our students who may need financial assistance.

For further details you can contact:

Sis Asma (Sponsors) at

Sis Yusrina (Reciters) at

With this initiative, InSyaAllah, you can also encourage your family and friends to recite the Quran and donate for a worthy cause.

May Allah s.w.t. be pleased with your generosity!

Thank You
