Cancellation of Kids aLIVE Field Trips due to Haze - Classes at usual Timings

Dear Parents of Kids aLIVE classes

Assalamu Alaikum Wr Wbr.

We regret to inform you that the field trips scheduled for this Saturday have been cancelled as the haze condition is expected to worsen. 

As such, all the classes will be conducted as usual from this Saturday (22 Sep 2019) . Please send  your children at the usual timings.

If you have not submitted the Continuation Forms you can submit on 14th September.

After that admin charges will apply and places will be subject to availability.

Continuation forms Submission for 2020, Madrasah as usual on 17th/18th August

Dear Parents

Assalamu Alaikum Wr  Wbr.

Please note that Madrasah will be as usual from this week 17/18 August.

We have given the continuation forms for 2020 to students on 3rd and 4th August. If your child was absent on that day, we will issue to your child this week (17th/18th August).

Please note that continuation forms with Jan fees must be submitted by 1st September 2019 in order for your child to be able to continue in 2020. If you do not submit by this day, we will proceed to allocate vacant places to new applicants and your child may lose his/her place for 2020.

Continuation forms must ONLY be submitted to EMAK Fees Counter on the 4th floor. The EMAK Office will be open for extended hours on Saturday and on Sunday for parents to submit the continuation forms. Please see the extended timing below and the days we are open for extended hours. Please pay by Cash as we do not have NETS facilities in the 4th floor office.

Saturday 17, 24 & 31 August 

12 noon to 2pm and 3pm to 5pm

(There will be short break for Zuhur & Asar prayers)

Sunday 18, 25 August & 1st Sep

11am to 2.30pm

(There will be short break for Zuhur prayers)

Parents are reminded NOT to submit to teachers or the Masjid Counter on the 1st floor.

2. Receipts

Please ensure that you obtain the receipt from your child if you are asking your children to pay.

Please keep all Receipts for 1 year.

3. Leave Application if your child is not coming to Madrasah

Parents are reminded to apply for leave using online leave application form. Please note that if your child is absent  3 times consecutively without Leave Application (AWL) , the Madrasah reserves the right to terminate the student.

FAQ on Continuation Forms

1) Whom do I submit the continuation form?

You must submit only at the EMAK Fees Counter (4th Floor)  together with January fees for next year. If you submit to anyone else and we if do not receive the continuation form, it will be considered as having not submitted.

2) What is the confirmation that I have submitted continuation form?

If you have submitted the confirmation form, you will get  Receipt for January Fees. This is confirmation that you have submitted the continuation form. The name of the issuer on the receipt  must be someone from EMAK fees counter.

3) Can EMAK fees counter refuse to accept the continuation form?

Yes, we will not accept the continuation form if :

  1. January Fees is not attached

  2. Fees till June for the current year has not been Paid

4) Do I have to submit continuation form if I am under Financial Assistance?

Yes, you still have to submit.

5) Do I have to submit continuation form if my child is not continuing next year?

Yes, that way we will consider your child as discontinued and if your child re-applies in the future, your child can still join under Phase 3C.

If you don’t submit, it will be considered it as Termination automatically and your child will not be allowed to join EMAK again.

Dear Parents


Assalamu Alaikum Wr Wbr.

1. Madrasah Resumes on 6th / 7th July

All classes including Qu’ran Recitation sessions will resume at the usual timings from this week. All KIds and Tweens students please come in uniform. 

We are now in the month of Zhulkaedah, one month after Hari Raya, so we are not having any Eidul Fitri celebrations. Please DO NOT give any Hari Raya kuih / tit bits to your children for sharing with classmates too. 

2. Senthuhan Ramadan

Kindly return the sealed envelopes with cash donations through your child ONLY to the class teachers on 6 / 7 July. Please write down your child’s name, class & amount donated on the envelopes.

3. July Fees Collection, Reception on 3rd floor

Insha Allah, kindly pay your fees for July if you had not done so. 

Please note that the mosque reception for paying fees is on the 3rd floor Conference room due to renovation.

2. Sibling Application for Academic Year 2020

If you have children in EMAK, and would like to enroll their siblings born in 2015 or earlier (2014-2000), please apply before 31st May to be given priority.

Please DO NOT register students who are already in the Madrasah. We will be giving continuation forms to existing students in July.

Change in class timing for Ramadan, Iftar Gathering for Parents

Alhamdulillah! Ramadan is here!

1. Change of timing for Ramadan on 11/12 May & 25/26 May

On 11/12 May & 25/26 May afternoon/evening classes will be re-timed to allow teachers, students and parents to return home early for Iftar.

(as given in Academic Calendar)

Please refer to the table below. The affected classes are shaded in yellow.

Please come on time to fetch your children so as to not hold back teachers who have to return home for iftar.

2. Madrasah Holiday on 18/19 May (Vesak Day Public Holiday)

Madrasah will be closed on these 2 days for Vesak Day Holiday.

3. Khathamul Quran & Ramadan Iftar Gathering 25th May

We will be having our Khatamul Quran & Ramadan Iftar Gathering on 25th May.

All parents are welcome to join the Khatamul Quran & Ramadan Iftar gathering with your family.

You may contribute food for the gathering too!

Please RSVP using Online Form by 22 May.

If you are contributing any food, please ensure that the food is delivered by 5pm. This will give us enough time for packing.

The Venue for Khathamul Quran is Level 3 Auditorium.

Please report at the auditorium at least 15 mins before the session begins.

Ramadan Iftar gathering and food delivery will be in 2nd floor classrooms.

Cafe closed, April Fees, Kids aLIVE Field Trips

Dear Parent

Assalamu Alaikum Wr Wbr

1. Cafe will be closed from this week and Insha Allah re-open after Ramadan

  Please do pack light snacks for the children in the meantime for them to eat

during break in the meantime.

2. Insha Allah we will have Kids aLIVE fields trips this week.

   Classes going on the field trips have been  given consent forms.


   Parents are reminded to come on time as bus will not wait for latecomers.
