4. ‘Tabung Rahmah’ Project - for All Kids & Tweens classes as well as Teens who wish to help out.

In conjunction with Sentuhan Ramadan Campaign 2017 theme of “Rahmah Begins with Me”, we will be launching Tabung Rahmah Project for students’ age 5 to 16 years old islandwide. Among the objectives of the project are to:

  • inculcate the value of RAHMAH towards OTHERS (Muslims & non-Muslims)

  • instill the spirit of GIVING and SHARING

  • learn how to MANAGE their POCKET MONEY

Students will receive a tin can on 27/28 May and he/she will save a part of his/her pocket money for Tabung Rahmah in 60 days (during the month of Ramadan and Syawwal). He/she can also save any amount of money preferred. No sum is too small to lend a helping hand to those in need. Most importantly, the value of giving and sharing with the less needy.

The student will return the money saved (cash) to mosque office latest by 28 July 2017. The student will get to keep the tin can for future saving activities.

How families can help

You can support Tabung Rahmah Project by:

  • teaching your child how money can be managed as well as for helping others

  • encouraging your child to save part of their pocket money in the tin can

  • reinforcing the idea of giving back to the community

  • help to count the money saved with your child and return the money in an enclosed envelope to mosque office by 28 July 2017.

  • Please note that this is pocket money saving activity. Please refrain from soliciting donations from the members of the public.

Thank You
