Dear Parents
Assalamu Alaikum Wr Wbr
HBL and Live Classes will continue till 16th/17th May
Although the month of May has been declared as school holiday, MUIS has decided to continue HBL Classes and Live Classes as planned for the term till 16th/17th May.
We are pleased to inform you that we are now doing live teaching online for all Tweens, Teens and Youth aLIVE Classes. We have started in phases starting with Teens and Youth three weeks ago, with Tweens starting last week and this week. With this we now have 20 classes on live teaching with Google Meet.
Due to security reasons our Madrasah has decided to use Google Meet for live teaching instead of Zoom.
Due to the difficulty of managing Kids aLIVE classes online, we will only have Home Based Learning (HBL) at the moment. We may do a pilot live teaching for Kids 3 and Kids 4 classes soon. Teachers will keep you updated.
Fee Waiver update
In an earlier post, we have said that 50% will be waived for March and April Fees. Instead of waiving 50% March and April fees, the mosque has decided to waive the full month of May fees in order to make administration easier (It is the same in terms of amount i.e. one month fees).
Project Revive
In view of the COVID-19 situation, we do expect parents to experience difficulty paying fees and we plan to top up the EMAK Trust fund during this Ramadan.
Project Revive is an initiative by EMAK (Al-Khair English Madrasah) to encourage the recitation of the Quran and the act of Sadaqah. Donations will be directed to the EMAK Trust Fund which serves to assist our students who may need financial assistance.
For further details you can contact:
Sis Asma (Sponsors) at asma.munavara.emak@gmail.com
Sis Yusrina (Reciters) at yusrinajaikubali@gmail.com
With this initiative, InSyaAllah, you can also encourage your family and friends to recite the Quran and donate for a worthy cause.
May Allah s.w.t. be pleased with your generosity!
Thank You
