Important AlKhair English Madrasah Opening Announcements (2013)

Dear Parents: Assalamualaikum wr. wb.

We will send an SMS on Friday 11th Jan 2013 to all parents of all students in our enrollment.
If you did not receive the sms by midnight of 11th Jan - please check if you have changed your hand phone number.
Otherwise report on Saturday through online form (No SMS Received Reporting).

We will also send an email on 11th Jan 2013 - if you did not receive the email by midnight of 11th Jan, 
please report through (No email received Reporting) online form on Saturday.

1. Madrasah starts this week!
 
    Saturday Classes start on 12th Jan 2013
    
   Please report to new assembly area on  2nd Floor IQRA/Snack area 10 mins before class
   starts for Assembly and announcements.

   Please take note of the revised timings (as announced in November 2012) -

   Session 1 starts at 1pm and ends at 4pm.

   Session 2 starts at 4pm and ends 7pm.

   Note: There will be no IQRA till 2nd Feb (see below for IQRA registration details)
   so students please report by 12.45pm for Session 1 and 3.45pm for Session 2.
   
    Sunday Classes start on 13th Jan 2013.

          Please go directly to the classes. T
eens aLIVE students proceed to 4th floor.
         Kids aLIVE students (4C3) please go to 3rd Floor Classroom 3-1.

2.  Book Sale

There will be Text Book Sale on:

Date / Time / Venue: Sat 12th Jan 2013 - 12 noon to 5pm (Level 4, Classroom 2)

Please buy the books this week because the students will need to use the books from 19th/20th Jan. 
There will NOT be any more book sales.
                                    

3. Uniform Sales

If your child has outgrown the uniform, please get a new set.

There will be Sale of uniform on

Date: Sat 12th Jan 2013

Time: 3 pm  to 4.30 pm.

Venue : Ground Floor Multi-Purpose Hall

  
4. IQRA classes for K4, Tweens begin on 2nd Feb 2013.

    Please register online at emakparents website by 19 Jan 2013 if you want your child to
   attend IQRA classes.
    (Please see under online forms or click here to register). Please note there is an extra fee of
   $5 per month for IQRA. Students who attended the IQRA program last year must also
   re-register for this year’s classes.

5. Academic Calendar & Welcome Letter will be given to your child on the first day of
   Madrasah. Please ensure you get this copy.

6. Deployment of Course Co-Ordinators

   Our Kids aLIVE Co-Ordinator Sis Majeena will be on Leave for 2013. Sis Fathima Sidique will
   be the Acting Co-Ordinator for Kids aLIVE along with Sister Nifasath and Sis Adidah as Kids
   aLIVE Assistant Co-Ordinators 

We are pleased to inform you that Sister Nur Kamaliah will be the Tweens aLIVE Co-Ordinator, 
Sister Nasrin will be the Assistant Co-Ordinator and Sister Mehmutha will be the Teens aLIVE Co-Ordinator.


7. From 2013 All announcements will be on website- only urgent announcements
   will be made by SMS

  From 2013, we will be making most of the announcements on the
  website, with email reminders to check announcement once it is made. We will only send
  SMS for urgent announcements. You will receive fewer SMS this year. Please keep your
  email addresses updated with us.

8. TIP for locating this emak parents website
   At times, if you are outside and do not have the link to the emak parents website, please
   type “emakparents” in google,yahoo or Bing and the first link will lead you to this website. 
The emak parents website is also mobile phone browser friendly.
