Dear Parents Assalamu Alaikum Wr Wbr Please take note of the following announcements: 1. Madrasah starts on 3rd July 2010 For Sunday classes , it starts on the 4th July. We request that you send your children on time and if your child is not coming please apply for leave. 2. Travel Declaration & Thermometers Please download and fill up declaration form attached below and submit to teacher on 3rd July. Do NOT send your children to the Madrasah if they are unwell or running a fever. Children from KidsaLIVE 3 and KidsaLIVE 4 , Tweens and Teens are to bring their own thermometers. 3. AlKhair Women’s Day - 10th/11th of July AlKhair Mosque will be having Women’s Day on these two days. There will be Madrasah as usual but due to Multi-Purpose Hall being occupied, there will be no Assembly for that day and students are to proceed on to their respective classes. As the mosque will be crowded, parents of Kids aLIVE children are requested to send their children to their classes and fetch them back. There will also be no English Tafsir class on Sat 10th. There will be stalls from the different units and EMAK will have a stall selling Briyani. We request parents to buy and support the mosques in its fund raising efforts. 4. NO IQRA sessions on 10 July due to the Women’s Day Programme 5. K3 Mini Fair - 17th July As in every year, our KidsaLIVE 3 students will be having their fund raising efforts for the Orphanage. Please give your children some extra pocket money to spend in this cause. We also appreciate your support in patronising the Mini Fair to give encouragement to our little ones! We seek your help in contributing items to sell at the jumble sale (good items but serve no use for you). You may pass these items to your child who can pass it to the respective class teachers on 3rd July. These items include books, toys, clothes, brooches, scarves, bags and any other saleable things. Parents can also contribute food items like cookies to sell and these proceeds go to Darul Mawah Orphanage. Parents can also contribute donations to Darul Mawah through the Mini Fair's Donation Box. Thank you. 6. Parents Meeting-postponed Parents Meeting scheduled on 17th July has been postponed to a later date. We will advice / sms you on the new date at least 2 weeks’ in advance. 7. Fees for Jun/July Fees collection will be as usual this week. 8. Continuation forms Continuation forms will be given to all students except 12C4, 12D3 students in the coming weeks. Please submit by 15th August along with Jan Fees to Bro Kabeer. There will be a $15 admin charge for late submissions after this date. 9. Did you receive SMS on 2nd July? We have re-organised our SMS server and you should have received an SMS on 2nd July alerting you about this announcement.
