have severe problems that persist throughout their lives.
Living with learning disabilities can be a painful struggle for both parents and the child.
Learn how to identify the sign and symptoms of learning disabilities and the best way to manage them.
The topics covered include:

About the Speaker

Leah Llamzon is a Speech Language Pathologist who is currently employed at the Singapore American School.   
She received her Bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. 
She went on to earn a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from the same university in 1993. 
Since moving to Singapore in 1998, she has taken an interest in childhood speech and language disorders. 
Her first job in Singapore was in Rainbow Centre at Margaret Drive Special School. 
In 2001, she began working in a private practice for children with communication disorders. 
Her special interest is working with children on the autism spectrum.  
She has been a guest lecturer at the University of the Philippines and
 has given workshops in Manila and Singapore with a focus on communication disorders
